Greetings my friend,

Zig Ziglar had a saying which has made a world of difference in my life.  What he said was,

"You can get everything you want if you just
help enough other people get what they want."

In esoteric circles, this is usually interpreted as the Law of Karma, which says that whatever you put out into the Universe, you get back multiplied, whether it is good or bad.

In the world of business, this means creating products that will help people, and then persuading folks to use those products for themselves.

In personal and social situations, this means being someone that others like being around.  Someone they gladly do favors for.  In many respects, the process of "selling yourself" to others is the same as the process of selling products.

However you look at it, the fact is that the more good you do for others, the more good you receive for yourself.  Or to put this differently, if you're not seeing enough good in your life, it's probably because you're not doing enough good for others.

Everyone can do SOMETHING to help other people.  Even if the only thing you can do is to show someone you care about them, that's great!  We all need to feel like someone cares for us at some point in time or another.

I can remember when I did school portraits.  There were many days when a small compliment, given sincerely, made a child's day.  Not only did it make them feel good, it made me feel good too.

This is why many wealthy people donate money to worthy causes.  They know that the more they help others, the better their own business will be.

In my Choose To Believe book, there is a secton near the end that talks about how to use the principles to help others.

Obviously, one way to help others would be to tell them about good materials they can use to improve their own lives.  But not everyone is open to these ideas, and some folks will reject your suggestions.

Luckily, there's another way.

Using the same techniques we use on ourselves to change what WE believe, we can help other people change what THEY believe.  This guides them to be open to things which will help them.

In fact, many of the advanced techniques in my CTB material came from the field of NLP (Neuro-Linquistic Programming).  In particular, the part commonly called "conversational hypnosis".

You see, the human mind is wired to assume many details which are missing from normal communication.  These assumptions are based on HOW something is said as much as what is specially communicated.
