PowerKeys Publishing FAQs

I can't add items to the cart?
Most likely, your browser is set to reject cookies.  AOL disables cookies by default.  In order to place an order in AOL, please follow these instructions:

  • From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  • Select Internet [Web] Options
  • Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced browser options.
  • Select the Privacy tab
  • Select Advanced
  • Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  • Click OK to exit.

I can't login to my account?
     This is also an issue with cookies.  Please see the above FAQ.

I've placed an order but haven't received any emails about it?
     This is most likely because your ISP has filtered the emails and put them into the SPAM folder.  This is particularly true with the free email accounts such as Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail.  Most ISPs give you an option to "white list" an email address or domain name in order to insure that the emails get through to you.  Please make sure to white list the domain www.PowerKeysPub.com or the email address Alan@PowerKeysPub.com.  For the most popular email accounts, more detailed instructions can be found on our page, "Insuring Email Delivery"
    You may check the status of any order you've placed by logging in and clicking the 'Your Account' link above the Navigation Menu.  You will see a link that says "Order History" that will show you all orders you've placed with this website.  If your payment has gone through, you will see links to download your purchased files under the Order Summary.

What format are the ebooks?
     Most of the products available on the PowerKeys Publishing website are in PDF format, which means that you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software to open, view, or print them.  You can get the latest version directly from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
    Audio products are available in MP3 format, and there are many players that support this format.  If you can listen to audio on your computer, then you probably have a player for this file format.
    For those who are less technically savvy, or simply want to have offline version of our products, simply choose the "Hard Copy" item and we will print off your ebooks on our own printer, bind them into a 3-ring binder, and ship them to you.  The same "Hard Copy" item can also be used to get a traditional audio CD of any audio products as well.

How do I use a coupon code?
     Before you go to checkout, select a link that says "View Cart".   Right below the button to check out (near the bottom), there is a place to add a discount coupon.  Enter your coupon code and click the Add button next to it..
     You will also see the "View Cart" screen after you place an item into your shopping cart.

How do I download my purchase?
     In most cases, as soon as your payment is processed, you will receive an email with a 'download key' to access each of your purchased files. This download key is a special URL that links to a hidden download page where you will be able to download your purchase.
     In any case, you will also be able to access your downloadable files for a full 7 days (168 hours) from the time your purchase is authorized.  You will be able to access them through your Order History page.  A link to this page will be found in the "Your Account" link over the Navigation Menu, after you log in.

What do you charge for shipping?
     For most products, nothing.  Most everything currently listed on the PowerKeys Publishing website are downloadable products, which means that after your payment is received and processed, you will be able to download your purchase to your computer directly from this site.  Since nothing is shipped, no shipping charges are collected.
    If you choose the item called "Hard Copy" to get a physical copy of your ebook purchase, there is a nominal shipping charge that is calculated during checkout.  For most of the US, this will amount to about $5 to $8, with higher charges for other parts of the world.

Is my purchase guaranteed?
     YES!!  All products offered on the PowerKeys Publishing website are offered with a full 1 Year MoneyBack Guarantee.  This means that you have a full 365 days to work with the information and verify that it works for you.  If at any time during this 1 year period (after the first 30 days), you feel that the information has not helped you, you may ask for a refund for your purchase.  Just use the contact form on the site, include the order number of your purchase, and if there were multiple products on the order, indicate which one you would like refunded.
    The only reason for the initial 30 day waiting period is to discourage those who would place an order with the intention of getting an immediate refund.  Online thieves are just a despicable as those in the real world.

What forms of payment do you accept?
     We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, E-Gold, money order, personal check, or Gift Certificates.  Details for using each form of payment will be displayed during checkout.

My credit/debit card is being declined and I know it's good?
     The credit card authorization system checks the information you enter into the payment screen against the information stored with your account at the issuing bank.  If the information does not match, the card will be declined.  Make sure to enter your information EXACTLY as it is on file with your bank.  Additionally, if your address includes both a street number and other numbers (Apt, Suite, etc.), please enter the additional information into the 2nd address line.  These additional numbers sometimes confuse the Address Verification System in use by our credit card processor.

     Beyond that, sometimes the system is busy and produces a "General Error" that has nothing to do with the information you've provided.
     Alternately, you may use the PayPal option, which uses a different set of rules and works better for some people.

Where do I mail a money order or personal check?
     Money orders and personal checks are to be made out for the exact amount of your order, payable to PowerKeys Publishing, and mailed to the following address:

Can I send you payment via Western Union?
     While it is possible to send money via Western Union, there is a $5 surcharge for doing so since I have to make a special trip to pick up the payment.  If you'd like to do this, place your order using the payment option of 'check/money order', and send your Western Union payment to me personally, "Alan Tutt", using the address information above.  Remember to add $5 to the cost of your order. 
     After you send the payment via Western Union, email me with the details (Alan@PowerKeysPub.com) and I'll schedule a time to pick up your payment.  When I receive your payment, I will manually enter your payment into the software, which will then notify you that your order is processed and that you may access your downloadable files.
